Breath control is only one of many elements of singing. If you do not develop a good breathing technique while singing, you can breathe at an inopportune times or sing with less than optimal timbre. Singers do breathing exercises to become better at controlling their diaphragm muscles.

1 Take a deep breath for more than four seconds. Pace yourself so that you inhale evenly.
2 Hold your breath for four seconds.
3 Breathe out evenly over four seconds.
4 Wait four seconds before repeating the process from step 1. Repeat the exercise a few times from step one
Candle exercise
5 Light a candle and hold it so that the wick is about half a meter away from your mouth.
6 Take a deep breath.
7 Pucker your lips like you’re going to blow the flame out.
8 blow the candle, allowing you to bend causing the flame, but not out.
9 Count how many seconds you can blow into the fire.
10 Repeat the exercise and try the duration you can blow flame during bending, but not put to enlarge it.
Volume
11 Take a deep breath.
12 Make your normal speaking level, the “sss” sound out the words “snake” or “Sally”.

People who stutter tend to stop stuttering when they sing for several reasons: the sung words are prolonged, and the voice used is more easily smooth and pronounced than in normal conversation. [2] If you can put some rhythm in your speech (give it an oratorical quality, as in Martin Luther King, Jr.), your stuttering will decrease or disappear.
When Making A Speech, Do Not Look Directly At Someone.
Look over the heads of people or at a certain point on their face. That way, you will avoid getting nervous – which could trigger a stuttering chain reaction.
By speaking directly with someone, see if you can make eye contact with that person. You do not have to face them all the time, but make occasional eye contact will relieve it, which will keep you comfortable.

Being able to sing vibrato is nothing more than a slight change in the frequency of a note, whether consciously or not. When the vibrato is unconscious, or unintentionally so, it should be treated through exercises to control it.
For those who do not know what we mean, imagine the sound produced by a goat, it is something close to that. Perhaps the example sounds exaggerated, but it really isn't. The video below should give you an idea of how to sing vibrato.
WHAT IS NEEDED FOR A GOOD VIBRATO?
The base of the vibrato is the breath and voice support, when you do not have a correct diaphragmatic support, it is impossible to have full control of your vibrato and sustaining notes.
A few articles ago, in learning to sing, I mentioned the importance of not skipping stages. The reason being, that one of the techniques outlined in the singing course was about how to breath properly. Here is why learning the right breathing technique is so important, if you do not have the right breathing it’s impossible to be any good at singing vibrato.
HOW TO TRAIN TO SING VIBRATO
First of all, as I've mentioned, to have good vibrato you need have good technique. After that, you can study many other techniques, the most effective is the use of a metronome; starting at a low speed and going up gradually and thus training the control of vibrato.

VIBRATO IS THE BASES TO ALL OTHER TECHNIQUES
The reason for this is for any technique that you study, you will need to have full control of vibrato, which in turn improves your vocal agility. The ability to control your voice without straining (which is based in bad technique) is crucial not just to sing vibrato, but to sing clearly and well in general.

Producing vibrato naturally
Open the back of your throat. To do this, simply yawn. Try to keep the yawning sensation in the mouth and throat while singing. Can you imitate this same feeling without yawning? To sing well (and vibrato) you need to relax and open up. If your throat is closed, the sound will not flow and your tone will not be powerful and rich. You may reach some notes, but your total range will be compromised.
Relax the muscles completely. If you do not relax, you can not sing with vibrato.The technique should come naturally if you relax and do not force your voice. Release the tension in the body. Move your neck in a circular motion, stretching to the sides. This includes all the muscles of the face and head, too, as his jaw and tongue.These parties should do little effort, is to sing in a standard tone or vibrato.
To breathe properly, you need posture. To master the airflow (which is extremely important) you need to maintain good posture. Understanding the true vibrato
Your vibrato will develop at the right time if you sing properly. Some singing teachers will help you focus on your vibrato by spending time on stimulus exercises. However, this will not be the true vibrato, but a kind of imitation. If sing correctly, the vibrato will come naturally as a result.
This is an aspect of singing that comes with time and there is no magic formula for developing technique. It takes a good tone and supportive breathing before you can progress with this style of singing.
Understand what is vibrato. Technically speaking, vibrato is a homogeneous oscillation in a note. It is a small natural variation of tone, and the note is clear and defined. It can not be naturally manipulated.
Most people believe that the vibrato adds depth to the voice. It is perceived in the ears as a change in tone, but, in fact, the tone does not change.
Understand their usefulness. Of course, the vibrato is cool sound, but it is also useful for the voice. Not only is it the centre of all tones, but it also helps the muscles to relax. Basically, your larynx pulsates to handle the pressure it is receiving. It is there to protect your vocal cords of from any kind of damage.
Think of it like lifting weights. When your muscles are under pressure, they automatically begin to shake. Have you ever thought why this happens? The pulsating mechanism of the larynx is basically doing the same thing.
Understand that vibrato is not the same as swing or tremolo. Many people “fake” their vibrato due to poor training or lack of knowledge, failing to deliver the natural tone. #
Let’s look a little more at the other variations.
Trillo. Sounds like a bleating goat. It fact, it is a very fast vibrato staccato. It happens when breathing does not have enough support and the sound is dispersed.
Wobble. It occurs when the cycles are slow and scattered. There is a greater variation in tone, too. Usually this happens when there is a lack of concentration in tone or lack of support in breathing.
Tremolo. In contrast to the “Wobble” (which is slow), the tremolo is actually very fast. It occurs when there is a lot of glottal pressure, resulting in tension around the base of the tongue.

Exercises to produce a sound similar to vibrato
Try an exercise for the diaphragm. Put your hands at the end of the chest where the ribs meet. Now move your hands a little lower (in the soft area just above the navel). Sing a note in a comfortable height for you. As you do this, push the belly with your hands. Push release, push again and so on. Do this exercise at a pace of three to four cycles per second.
Place a finger in the larynx. Some teachers recommend students to put a finger on the larynx, moving it back and forth while singing in a monotone. This will result in a sound similar to the vibrato, but as I said before, this is not the true vibrato. Still, it will give you an idea of how the muscles can work in new ways.
Do not rely entirely on these exercises. As I have mentioned many times, the real and natural vibrato appears by itself. These exercises are only for you to see your voice in other ways.
Switch between two notes. A higher score and one that is half step down. This is another method that teachers use to teach students. You must switch between two notes, increasing the speed until it is similar to a vibrato. The objective is to achieve six to eight cycles per second.
As you may already assume, this is also not a vibrato, it is an imitation technique to achieve a similar sound. Just remember that alternating notes should be at a maximum distance of half tone of each other.
By the way, this type of exercise usually results in a tremolo. The volume changes while the tone remains the same, ie is not a vibrato. However, you can get an idea of how muscles work.
Do not get the “Jawbone Gospel.” You know those singers that move the jaw every alternation of vibrato? It’s not something that you should emulate. Your jaw must be fully relaxed during singing, like the rest of his body. Yes, move your jaw can imitate the sound, but it is not natural, nor healthy.

It doesn’t have to be the fourth of July to start brushing up on your national anthem singing skills. In fact singing the national anthem is a great way to test the range of your vocals. However, wonderful as it is, “The Star Spangled Banner” is a challenge to sing, as anyone who has attended a baseball game recently can attest to.
You only have to look on youtube to find examples of thousands of anonymous strangers and well-known celebrities stumbling through the national anthem. There’s even a video on YouTube showing Michael Bolton blanking on the lyrics midway through a performance at a baseball game a few years back; in contrast, Christina Aguilera brazenly continued belting out the anthem after butchering it at the Super Bowl one year:

This is why a recent viral video of a woman singing the national anthem at the Lincoln Memorial has been so enthusiastically received:
Star Swain, from Tallahassee, Florida, offered a stunning impromptu performance of the anthem while visiting the monument. As she sang, a group of people gathered around and eventually erupted in applause when she finished; she was even thanked by the armed guards as she left.

As you can see, singing the national anthem can be like walking a tight rope across a pit of snapping crocodiles, one wrong move and there goes your dignity… along with everything else. So, I present to you five tips for singing The Star-Spangled Banner. Although following these tips doesn’t guarantee you’ll do the national anthem justice, they go a long way in stopping it being completely botched up.
Tips On How to Sing Better: The National Anthem and Beyond!
Write down the lyric by hand so you actually study the words. When you’ve finished hand-writing the lyrics, read them. Every single word. Put them together in a story – the same story that urged Francis Scott Key to write them to begin with. Study the story and really get to know it. Feel the story behind it and let it paint a picture in your mind. This will help you remember the lyrics when that big moment comes and your standing in the spotlight in front of thousands of roaring fan. Find a way to practice the song with a pianist who can play it in any key. Keep practicing in the key you feel the most comfortable with and suits your voice, then drop the key several levels down. The simplest way to pick the right key is to take the third note of the song and sing that as the lowest pitch you can possibly sing well. The reason being is that from that note, the song pitch goes up, and up, and up, and up. By starting in this low key, you’ll leave plenty of room for the grand finale.If you are requested to sing a capella, please resist. Use less air as you move to higher grades.
Pull the sound forward to the front of your face.
